Almighty

Between now and the next men's fellowship we are concidering one attribute of God; How He is "Almighty".
Pray through this, consider it before leaving a comment, write on a sheet of paper what it means to you, what this means in general and how it actually affects your life that God is almighty and how it should affect your living, then write a comment on it!

Only a few more days to search the riches and vastness of this aspect of God's character and who He is! We'll restart the New Year on Thurs 4th January.

Father we pray that You might reveal yourself to us in our thoughts of how You are Almighty. That as we think on this aspect of who You are, that we might see more of You, come to a better understanding of how great and glorious you truly are!
Help us to magnify You in this, (not as a microscope makes something small look beg, but as a telescope makes something look more like the size it truly is). We want to see You and Your Son in a more clear way, reveal your "Almightiness" to us that we might respond and say "God, Christ, Spirit; You are Almighty", knowing exactly what is meant by that!
Amen

Christmas Gifts

On Thurs coming (14th Dec) we are hoping to go into Lisburn with 144 wrapped copies of John Piper's book seeing and savoring Jesus Christ to give freely to all the teens and adults we can! For kids we were unable to find sound cheap material, so God willing they will get sweets!
Our main aim is adults, if parents are saved then they can influence their children for Christ, if teens are saved perhaps, oh God it would be great, if some of them could lead fathers and mothers, brothers or sisters to love Jesus!

Oh yeh did I mention our plan is to dress up as Santa or some other fancy dress, pray for wisdom in this, kids will flock to Santa and I think with adults being the goal we really need to think and pray about this!

In so many churches etc children will receive gifts, but parents and teenagers often miss gifts from the church! Well we aren't a church, but we are part of The Body and so in the Spirit of Christ we pray;

Lord on Thursday would you be pleased to recieve the rewards of your sufferings for Lisburn!
